Mar Vista Family Center

The programs of Mar Vista Family Center (MVFC) are based on a Shared Responsibility Model, in which members of the community and other volunteers work together to provide educational and enrichment opportunities. MVFC welcomes those who would like to help make a difference.

Opportunities

Volunteer opportunities exist throughout the year and include:

Tutoring (Elementary through High School)
Mentoring
Pre-Teen Boys and Grils Groups
Dance
Music
Arts & Crafts
Sports
Community Café (preparing and serving meals)
Community Cleanups
Fundraising

Training

Before volunteers begin working at MVFC they are required to attend an orientation, where they will learn more about the Shared Responsibility Model and how to implement it.
